I am co-founder of The Rowan Tree Reiki, an Usui Reiki Master Teacher, Certified Spiritual Healing Practitioner and author and co-producer of the Celestial Journey Therapy Journey with the Angels and Journey with the Goddess Guided Meditation Series, available on Compact Disc and MP3 I have been a continuous student as well as a Practitioner-Teacher-Facilitator working within the healing arts for over 15 years. I am dedicated to presenting platforms for healing and harmonizing body-mind-spirit, increased happiness, empowered joyful living and all encompassing well being. The core of my practice has its foundation in meditation; having produced over 20 guided meditation titles and long time facilitator of meditation and intuitive workshops and classes. Over the years I have also offered Intuitive Mentoring and Mediumship sessions and for a time, my husband and I were owners of a metaphysical bookstore, The Mermaid’s Treasure Chest. I have had the opportunity to learn from many gifted teachers in a variety of areas, including Shamanic Journeying, Mediumship, Animal Communication, Animal Reiki, Healing with Angels…and in 2018 I completed a yearlong course, Woman-Shaman-Priestess.  Most recently had the honor to be mentored in Cacao Ceremony by Ananda Das. Although over the years I have studied and worked with channeling universal healing energy, it was only recently, during our beloved dog Rowan’s journey with canine lymphoma that I felt very called to Reiki. While my calling to Reiki originated with the desire to support our Rowan, I knew that my husband and I would carry the practice of Reiki forward, integrating this beautiful expression of energy healing into our personal and professional practices.  To read more about our Rowan Tree Reiki Story CLICK HERE I have always been very connected to and very passionate about animals. I remember coming home after our first Reiki attunement and while meditating that night I felt so very strongly to carry the Reiki forward for animals as well as for humans.  In addition to offering Reiki sessions for humans, I volunteer Reiki for animals in rescue as well as offer in-home sessions for family pet companions. I absolutely love being in the flow of Reiki. I experience Reiki as simultaneously a graceful surrender and as graceful empowerment and experience Reiki as an infinitely loving, blissful safe space to rest, restore and rejuvenate body, mind and spirit. The flow of Reiki offers platforms for transcending old patterns and cycles, clearing blockages and realignment with our true essential Self and I am so very honored to be of service, offering this exquisite energy healing modality for humans and animals. I have had my share of losses, trauma and illness, finding solace and renewal through personal healing practices. My life experiences and my deep empathic nature, enable me to meet my clients with compassion, empathy and with mutual respect and understanding of being on this human journey called life. I create safe, supportive space for my clients to experience the beautiful flow of Reiki, offering support for their personal healing intentions and holding space for the platforms of transformation and transcendence, harmony and balance that Reiki offers. In addition to Reiki, I facilitate a year-long course, Intuitive Spiritual Healing Practitioner Course, I co-facilitate Cacao Ceremonies and Reiki-Meditation-Sound Healing events with my husband Dirk. I am a lover of Kundalini Yoga, mantra, bird watching, exploring nature with our Golden-Newfie, Willow, lover of reading, tea and chocolate and a practitioner of being. I share my life journey with my husband Dirk, who is also an Usui Reiki Master Teacher, and an accomplished Sound and Energy Healer, Didgeridoo Musician, Sound Engineer, founder of QuantumIonic.com and is an All Encompassing Technical Wizard. He can fix anything and he has a special talent for creative song lyrics that would make Weird Al smile. Together we have founded The Rowan Tree Reiki and we co-produce the Celestial Journey Therapy Guided Meditations under our private label, Simar Media. Sharing similar passions and purposes, we offer support-facilitation within each other’s programs.
