Reiki Sessions for Animals As with humans, Reiki is able to benefit animals physically, emotionally and/or mentally. Sometimes there is an immediate benefit noticed after a Reiki session is offered to an animal and other times the benefit is more gradual. Reiki can never cause harm and as mentioned below, we always honor the animal’s free will to choose to accept a Reiki treatment. Reiki Sessions for our Animal clients are offered as In-home Sessions or as Distant Reiki treatment In-home Reiki Sessions are offered in the following areas in Southern California: Orange County, South Orange County, Long Beach, Seal Beach, Chino Hills and Chino. *In-home Reiki Sessions are offered in other areas in Southern CA on a case by case basis, so please feel free to inquire if we will come to your location  Distant Reiki Sessions for Animal clients are offered anywhere; a picture of the animal will be required. Reiki Sessions for Animals are typically 45 minutes which includes a session consultation with the Reiki treatment Fee is $60 for a 45-minute session More about Reiki Sessions for Animals: Animals are offered Reiki by invitation, this means that the Reiki Practitioner, will offer our animal client the Reiki treatment and will honor the animal’s choice to receive the Reiki as well as allow the animal to determine the length of the session. We ask the animal through thought or out loud and once the Reiki is being offered, we pay attention to how the animal responds to determine that they have agreed to receiving the Reiki as well as we accept their choice for how long they desire the session to be.  We typically begin offering Reiki with our hands above the animal’s body and/or from a slight distance in the room rather than with our hands placed directly on their body. Many animals prefer hands-off Reiki treatments, as animals tend to be much more sensitive to energy than humans are and it is usually more comfortable for them to have the Reiki Practitioner’s hands above their body or from a slight distance. However, if animal desires hands-on Reiki we will of course offer the Reiki-hands on. Most animals LOVE Reiki and will be very receptive. However, if your animal is resistant to receiving the Reiki treatment then the Reiki Practitioner can do one of the following ·  The Reiki Practitioner can put Reiki around the animal client so that the animal can choose to receive the Reiki energy in his or her own time and way. ·  If it is clear that the animal will not settle and receive after 15 minutes into the treatment, the Reiki Practitioner can cease the treatment and will refund $35 of the $60 session fee ·  OR the session can be transferred to the animal’s human guardian for a mini Reiki-session to be provided at that time. When an animal client has been scheduled for a Reiki treatment and there are multiple animals present at the time of the session, often the other animals will request to experience the Reiki as well.  The Reiki Practitioner can expand the Reiki treatment and offer the Reiki energy to multiple animals simultaneously. Or the Animal’s human guardian can provide a quiet space for the practitioner and the intended animal to experience the session undisturbed.
